What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed and read on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your browsing to ensure certain functionalities or to analyze the use of the site. This policy covers cookies as well as, more broadly, trackers that may be used (local storage, pixels, etc.).
Cookies alone do not allow a user to be identified by name. However, some cookies may constitute personal data when they allow a natural person to be indirectly identified, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Applicable legal framework
The deposit and reading of cookies on your device are governed by:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR);
- the Luxembourg law of August 1, 2018 organizing the National Commission for Data Protection and the general regime on data protection;
- the amended Luxembourg law of May 30, 2005 on the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, transposing Directive 2002/58/EC known as 'ePrivacy';
- for users residing in France, the amended law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 ('Informatique et Libertés' law), and in particular its article 82 transposing Directive 2002/58/EC.
For users residing in Luxembourg, the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) is the competent supervisory authority; for users residing in France, it is the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL). The principles set out in this policy, based on the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, apply equivalently, with French and Luxembourgish requirements stemming from the same European foundation.
Principle: cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the Site or the provision of a service expressly requested are exempt from prior consent. Other cookies can only be deposited after obtaining your freely revocable consent.
Cookies used on the Site
The Site does not have a customer area, commenting system, or third-party video player (the presentation video is hosted on our own domain), nor embedded social modules (social networks are accessible via simple links). Contact and quote request forms are managed using a form extension. All information about cookies can be found in the website banner during your first connection. It includes: the name of the cookie, its purpose, the domain name, and the retention period.
Data transfers outside the European Union
When the reCAPTCHA service is activated, the corresponding cookies are issued by Google LLC, a service provider based in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, upon which the European Commission's adequacy decision of July 10, 2023, is based, recognizing an adequate level of protection for data transfers to participating US organizations. Failing this, or in a complementary manner, transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Management of your consent
As the cookies currently present on the Site are exclusively technical and necessary in nature, no prior consent is required for their deposit. You are nevertheless informed of their existence by this policy.
If cookies subject to consent (non-exempt audience measurement, third-party content, marketing, etc.) were to be added to the Site, a consent collection mechanism (cookie management banner) would be implemented prior to their deposit, allowing you to accept, refuse, and withdraw your consent as easily as giving it, in accordance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
Set, refuse or delete cookies
6.1 Via your browser settings
You can configure your browser to accept or refuse cookies. However, refusing technical cookies may affect the functioning of the Site's forms. Links to cookie management for major browsers:

Cookie retention period
The lifespan of each cookie is specified in the banner table. In any event, the lifespan of trackers does not exceed 13 months from their deposit, and the information collected through them is not kept beyond 25 months, in accordance with CNPD and CNIL recommendations. At the end of these periods, your consent, when required, is requested again.
